Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) has remained focused on aiding and
assisting "Hoosier" veterans, and qualified family members or survivors, who are
eligible for benefits or advantages provided by Indiana and the U.S. government.

Governor Daniels Honors Deceased Hoosier Veterans with Special Certificates
Governor Mitch Daniels recently began sending special certificates to the survivors of deceased Hoosier veterans honoring their service in the military. The initiative, called the Governor’s Memorial Certificate program, is the State of Indiana’s final thank you to the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserve.
