Chapter and Auxiliary Unit 17 will conduct its Installation of Officers for 2026 – 2027, on Saturday March 14, 2026, from 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland.

For any members or guest that does not have the proper credentials for base access, please view complete the attached DVES virtual pass procedures and submit to their portal for review no later than 14 days prior to the event, see the power point slides no. 2 – 3. Once submitted in a timely manner, you will receive a response from (JBA) visitor control access center. Should any discrepancies with your information is identified, please respond to their request immediately, this will prevent delay in processing your request for access into the base. Once granted, you must report to the visitor control access center with either sponsor for verification, please notify us as soon as possible to ensure availability for both participants.

On the sponsor information page of the DVES, please complete the following:

• For Comrades: sponsor name – Robert Young.
• Contact info: email and phone no. – CSO2_RY_DAV@outlook.com  (301) 789-5810.
• Installation visiting: Joint Base Andrew, Maryland.
• Duration: March 14, 2026 – March 14, 2026.
• Purpose of visit: DAV Chapter and Auxiliary 17 Installation of Officers.

• For Unit: sponsor name – Joyce Young.
