Fifth Annual Field of Honor Dedication Ceremony

The Field of Honor is a powerful tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The dedication ceremony will be held on May 16 at 7 p.m. at Sussex Lane Park, across from the Bowie Library on MD 450. This exhibit will feature 150 American flags honoring the lives of military personnel, first responders, healthcare heroes, victims of terrorism, and those who lost their lives to COVID-19.

Flags can be dedicated for $45
and will be available for pickup
after the display ends on June 11.
Visitors are encouraged to walk
among the flags and take a quiet
moment to appreciate the legacy of service, sacrifice, and freedom. For more information or to dedicate a flag, visit www.cityofbowie.org/FieldofHonor. ​
