Commander Young is seeking volunteers to serve on one or more shifts at the Golden Corral, 1001 Shoppers Way, Largo, Maryland (I-495, Exit 16). The volunteer period will begin on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 thru Monday, November 10, 2025 (Military Appreciation Monday). Contact us at mdchaptermaas@gmail.com after reviewing the schedule and selecting the day or dates that you are available to volunteer. Looks like we have a volunteer, Mrs. Winnie Guthrie for most Wednesdays. However, we are looking for someone to join her on the days designated on the schedule. Who's available? As you can see, Thursdays are covered on the schedule. Now how about the weekend schedule?
Real ID Required for Guests Visiting JB Andrews, As of May 7, 2025 Comrades!
As of May 7, 2025, Joint Base Andrews requires visitors to have a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or other acceptable identification for base access.
This requirement does not apply to individuals with: • Department of Defense-issued ID cards (military, dependent, CAC, PIV)
Visitors without a REAL ID-compliant license must present an alternative form of ID such as: • U.S. Passport or Passport Card • Veteran’s Health Identification Card (VHIC) • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) • Birth certificate with raised seal and social security card
