A new statewide slate of officers has been elected by members of DAV (Disabled
American Veterans) Department of ND at their annual convention in Jamestown, ND.
The new DAV Department of ND commander is LaMar Kruckenberg of Bismarck/Mandan, who
replaces Immediate Past Commander Douglas Benjamin of Minot, ND. Other newly elected
department officers are:
Matthew Herrud, senior vice commander, Fargo, Chapter 1; 1st junior vice commander
Thomas Ryan, Williston, Chapter 9; 2nd junior vice commander
Frank Senn, Minot, Chapter 4; 3rd junior vice commander Jim Davenport, Minot, ND;
Mike Dobmeier, Grand Forks, ND Chapter 2 department judge advocate/inspector general;
Cory Haugen, Jamestown, Chapter 31, department chaplain
Commander Kruckenberg is a member of DAV Adam Klein Chapter 3 in Bismarck. He is a disabled Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He and his
spouse, Mary, have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is a retired from law enforcement in ND after 35 years.
