2024 - The Ruby Diamond Foundation The Tallahassee Chapter 5 would like to thank the foundation for its continued generous support of the local veterans in Tallahassee and surrounding Counties. The grants have allowed us to reach hundreds of veterans in claims assistance and transportation to other medical facilities. Our Chapter uses 100% of any funds received from this grant for veterans. Veterans in the seven surrounding counties greatly benefit from the Foundations financial support.
During the last year, the grant has helped our DAV Chapter to keep our office open at the Tallahassee Veterans Clinic assisting over 960 veterans. Leon County has over 17,000 registered veterans with the Veterans Administration needing claims and death benefits assistance.
