To all Officers, volunteers, and members of DAV Chapter 32.
Therefore, effective June 4th, 2026. I hereby resign my roll in this chapter and I wish you my best.
~Pat Livingston
Commander."
Unnecessary information from email has been redacted, to keep it short and to point. Due to resignation of roll, DAV Chapter 32 had Sr. Vice Commander Richard assume Commander position and Jr. Vice Commandeer Robert assume roles of Sr. Vice Commander effective immidiately. Due to resource limitation, Jr Vice Commander roll is not filled at this moment and will be discussed at next meeting. We would like to thank Richard and Robert for handling this situation and stepping up into the new leadership rolls.
We also take this moment in thanking the Adams County community, during the DAV Forget Me Knot Donation Drive over Memorial Day weekend. Your donations will be used in helping our local Veteran Community. We are going thru the steps for approval to return to Sam's Club during Donation Drives, managers are no longer able to schedule time and date as in past, it is all done electronically.
If you are unaware, Sams Club like Walmart require you to join "Spark Good" to be able to schedule a time and date that you will be raising donations outside a spefic store. Along this line, Chapter 32 has begun process of accepting electronic donations via Venmo and Paypal both thru QR code. QR code will only be present for in person donations by Illinois DAV Chapter 32 during donation drives. We listened to the public and took initiative. For upcoming Forget Me Knot donation drives a QR code will be available for those that do not carry cash and want to donate. It will not be made available electronically nor on a website. If you and/or a company wishes to make a donation please reach out to us by email listed in Mailing Address and Phone announcement.
We give thanks to our beloved community that allows us to keep providing assistance to local veterans thru your donations. If you have concerns our issues let us know by email as our past phone number is no longer available. Reminder, all Illinois DAV Chapter 32 members are volunteers.
Very respectfully,
Illinois DAV Chapter 32
