"DAV Day" at the Portland Seadogs!

DAV Day at the SeaDogs.jpegDAV Department of Maine was honored by the Portland Seadogs on Sunday, 25 May 2026 with their "Salute to Service" recognition. Even the rain couldn't damper our spirits as the Portland Seadogs closed out their matchup with the Reading Fightin Phils with a 4-3 walk-off victory in the 10th inning.

Whoot Whoo!

Join Maine's Driving Force - The DAV Transportation Network!
The DAV Transportation Network is looking for drivers to fill their Sanford, Down East, Rumford and Aroostoock County routes, providing rides to the Togus VA Medical Facility for local Veterans. You don't need to be a Veteran. You just need to have the desire to help Maine Veterans, while traveling through our beautiful state. DAV has recently replaced two 2011 E-350 vans with two Ford Explorers. With this upgrade to our fleet, "Maine's Driving Force" of volunteer drivers continues to provide safe, reliable (and stylish!) rides to the men and women who served. Become a DAV Driver! Go to: https://www.facebook.com/DAVVTN to learn how!New DAV Ford Explorer.jpg

New Style Military Retiree ID Card Required

ATTENTION RETIRED MILITARY MEMBERS: Beginning in 2026, the old-style, blue ID cards will no longer be accepted, regardless of the printed expiration date. In order to maintain base access, please visit your nearest DEERS/ID card office to obtain a new ID. If you're unable to make it to a military installation, you can also request a new card through the RAPIDS ID Card Office Online:
