Handicap equipment available to loan. Chapter 26 has handicap equipment available for loan to any needy resident of Anderson, Morgan, or Roane County who is in temporary need. Equipment includes shower and potty chairs, walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, and hospital beds. Call (865)360-1454 to arrange an equipment loan. 1st Saturday DAV Benefit Dinner Karaoke or other entertainment, and dinner - 5 pm to 9 pm, every 1st Saturday. Admission depends on the menu, but is always reasonable (around $10/person). Last Thursday Musicians Jam Session Chapter 26 hosts Musicians Jam Sessions, from 5 pm to 9 pm, on the last Thursday of each month. Complementary coffee is available. All musicians, singers, and music lovers are welcome to attend. There is no admission charge, but donations are greatly appreciated. Last Saturday Veterans Breakfast Last Saturday, Free Veterans Appreciation Breakfast, 8AM - 9:30AM, open to all veterans and their households, their widows/widowers, and veterans guests. Breakfasts sponsors are needed, and are greatly appreciated. 1st Tuesday, DAV Members Dinner and Meeting Chapter 26 members dinner, and meeting, 6:00 pm, first Tuesday of every month.
