Good morning.  We had a very productive meeting last night.  I appreciate those that came out and participated. I would love to see more of you at the July 2nd Meeting. Here is a quick summary of what we discussed:

The primary focus of last nights meeting was to install our officers for the DAV calendar year which starts on 1 July.  The only changes from this year are Art Nestle is our new Jr Vice and Will Randall is our new Chaplain.  Thank you for stepping up.

I will be representing the Chapter at the upcoming Department Convention.

A motion was made/seconded to pay for a ramp for Tim Gibbs who is a disabled veteran.  The cost of the ramp is 1398.64.  Motion Passed

A motion was made/seconded to allocate 1000.00 towards needed comfort items for patients at the VA rehab center in Lake City.  Motion Passed

If you know of a member that doesn't get these emails or isn't on Facebook please feel free to share this.  When the opportunity presents itself encourage eligible veterans to come to a meeting and see what we have to offer. 

Lastly, members why isn't your spouse a DAVA member?  The DAVA does great work and in support of our veterans and there is power in numbers. Get the word out.
