Looking to Join DAV, Chapter 49 Perry and Juniata Counties Now is the time to join our DAV Chapter 49 Perry and Juniata Counties. We have several programs that we use to reach out to our Veterans and their families, as needed. We are always looking for Veterans with a VA connected injury or illness to join our very busy team of Disabled Veterans to provide services to other Veterans.
National DAV Headquarters increased membership dues from an age based system to $300 for all ages. Disabled Veterans 85+ will remain free to join DAV.
Please contact Terri Lynn at 609-668-1539 for information on joining DAV, Chapter 49. We provide service to Veterans from Perry and Juniata Counties. Come out to New Bloomfield VFW Post 7463, the third Sunday of 12/19/2021 at 2-4pm for our Christmas Party and camaraderie. Our regular meetings are the third Sunday of the month from 2:30 - 4:30pm at VFW 7463, New Bloomfield, PA. Free. Qualifications for Membership Into Disabled American Veterans Any man or woman, who was wounded, gassed, injured or disabled in the line of duty during time of war, while in the service of either the military or naval forces of the United States of America, and who has not been dishonorably discharged or separated from such service, or who may still be in active service in the armed forces of the United States of America is eligible for membership in the Disabled American Veterans. Others who are disabled while serving with any of the armed forces of any nations associated with the United States of America as allies during any of its war periods, who are American citizens and who are honorably discharged, are also eligible.
NOW IS THE TIME TO JOIN BEFORE DUES INCREASE TO $300 FOR ALL AGES. 85+ REMAINS FREE TO JOIN.
