Veterans Day-Parade and Ceremony

Join us in honoring and celebrating the men and women who served in America's Armed Forces. ​Parade line up 0900 at the Veterans Outreach Center 205 E. Weinert st overflow at Palmers Mortuary Parade start 1000 Route will be on Austin st to end at the Seguin Coliseum (same as 4th of July parade) Ceremony 1100 inside the Coliseum A. DAV Chapter 61 Offices
Our Chapter House is located at 425 N. Vaughan Ave., Seguin, TX (830) 379-3299 and our new Satellite location in the Veterans Outreach Center (VOC) at 205 E. Weinert St., Seguin, TX (830) 402-8103. Our Chapter Office is open: Tuesday (appointment only) , Wednesday and Thursday (walk-ins no appointment needed) from 0900 to 1300 hrs. VOC open same days but no appointment is needed.
Doug Herrle Chapter 61 Service Office
Our Chapter Service Officers advise, instruct, and counsel claimants and provide assistance in preparation of VA claims for various benefits which claimant may be entitled. When an inquiry is taken or after appropriate forms are properly completed and signed, application is then forwarded to the DAV National Service Office in San Antonio for review and submission to regional VA Benefits Administration (VBA).
